Just last evening I was thinking that,,,
I was sitting at the bar of my watering hole,,,
Discussing handguns with a relatively new shooter.

He asked me what I thought of the Canik guns.

The reason he asked is because he has fired my CZ-75B and loved it,,,
So he starts reading and eventually came across Canik.

I asked him if he could afford to blow a 100.00 bill.

Bear in mind he isn't a rich dude,,,
But he does have a professional income,,,
He agreed he could blow a $100.00 bill on a whim every now and then.

So I said to him,,,
Then why even consider a Turkish made copy,,,
When the $100.00 bill is about the price difference between it and a real CZ.

I know poor,,,
I was poor most of my life,,,
So I understand the desire to save a buck here and there.

But I wanted a genuine CZ,,,
Not a Turkish CZ clone.

The prices aren't that attractive to my eyes.

You could almost make the same argument for the AK-47/74 as being a terrorist or communist weapon.

A lot of the Turkish manufacturers produce weapons for the Turkish military and police force.
