I took this on a recent trade. I can't find out who built the pistol but, it looks like a good build. Caspian Arms sold the $1200 kit to build the gun in 2004 to Ellison Custom Guns. I have 5 mags to go with it and a few extra parts. Priced at $1000 not interested trades at this time. I can meet you part way, I'm in Ponca City.

I have a .38 Super that I traded for that's a Caspian frame and slide that I was told Ellison built. It's very nice. So I called out to Ellison's and he wouldn't verify if he built it or not!

Ellison's has have been shut down since 2009 I think he said. Once they had a fire also. He told me they sold a bunch of the kits all over including Murray State College. I called MSC and gave a gal there the serial number and she said she would try to find out if they bought the kit. She hasn't gotten back to me. The trigger guard has a "M" on one side and a "S" on the other. If the gun was a .45acp, I would keep it.

Well I know he did nice work if he built it, he worked on a couple for me probably 20 years ago and that's why I traded for this .38 Super, it's the smoothest 1911 I've ever owned.
