Gun is a Shield Plus. Ammo was Teflon coated cast bullets from U.S. Ammunition. Ammo was purchased at Ammo Depot. There is an empty case in the chamber. Looking at the pics, what’s the opinions of what happened here?

Could take over 145psi to push a bullet into a case.
Pistol that is at least in my testing of powder coated bullets.

Now A buddy worked up loads for a 9mm of his with a fully supported chamber.
Below max by a couple tenths.
His fully supported chambered gun shot them excellent and sent many down range accurately.

Used the same ammo in his sons 9mm that did not have a fully supported chamber and the magazine blew out because the case ruptured.
Other parts broke also and looked like what you have there.

I got in the reloading book and looked at the load data and then seen some print I never seen before.
Probably because I did not load 9MM at that time.

Do not use these loads in chambers that are not fully supported.

Something like that.

how is the chamber shape on that one?
Unsupported on the bottom?
