Should be for any of the enlisted universities as far as the NIL part, not sure about the redshirt and 4 year eligibility only part.
FWIW, most scholarships are privately funded. The few that aren't are academic scholarships, like the National Merit Scholars program (and that's one where the school basically eats the costs for the student, so it's more of an unfunded mandate).
So your saying "most" athletic scholarships are privately funded? Please share where you got this information. From what Ive seen they are as you mentioned "eaten by the school"...but subsidized by our tax money.
What I said was "most scholarships," not just athletic scholarships, but athletics, at least at OU, is self-funded, they're not funded out of state appropriations (which, per the FY24 budget, accounts for about 12% of the University's budget). As to where I got the information, when you work somewhere for 25 years, you learn things about how the place works...
