Colt Safety Recall for Certain Rifles

Apparently some recently made AR rifles may fire after firing a shot and when the trigger resets.

Sounds like a good reason to put a LaRue MBT in your Colt.

This has been a thing for awhile. They keep adding more models. I bet it's because they are outsourcing all their OEM parts to the point that they don't know how to test, QC, or manage a fire control group. They're just throwing some junk out-of-spec OEM crap in their receivers and hoping it fits and functions correctly.

That's why I tend to stay away from the newer Colt rifles. All but one of mine are from 2013 or earlier.

I noticed another Colt recall thread from 11/2021. Looks like the same issue so this isn't a new recall.

I swap the triggers on pretty much anything I get with MBTs so I don't sweat it too much.
