Just was wondering if someone could clarify whether concealed carry is legally permitted at these locations (though I'm mainly curious about the science museum)? Going to visit one/both with my kids in the near future. I think my primary sticking point is whether these locations are "owned/leased/whatever by a government entity for the purposes of doing business with the public"

I haven't been in a while so I assume they have a gun-buster somewhere or a "no guns allowed" sign but I'm really curious if the location is specifically excluded by law or not

I'll beat everyone else to it...

    concealed means just that.

Having said that, I believe the Zoo is fair game for CC, the science museum I don't know.

    True dat.

If its merely against their policy then I'll conceal away. If its actually prohibited by law then I might have to reconsider where to take my kids so that I don't pick up a criminal charge

I believe I heard there is legislation in the process that will make it legal.

Don't deprive your kids of a couple of excellent experiences. Both are well worth the issue of leaving your hardware at home if necessary.

My problem with those dang gun-buster signs is that I walk faster than I read.

I'm more of a picture guy than a reading guy.

    I don't carry a beretta.
