Not sure who the guy was, but seen a couple of pics of an incredibly massive, chocolate racked giant with a huge left side drop tine. It was on FB.
That sucks, but I've been in the same boat on controlled hunt draws. Been to Big Mac on the bow hunts, and never saw a deer in the field twice.
Wichita Mtn deer. The two guys are brothers...... they had a good hunt. Wide buck was 26" wide. Inside spread.

I know you are going to call BS but that is exactly why I didn't post them. There is a story on the bigger buck. He was actually living on the public use area. Photographers knew him well and also raised a big stink when this deer fell. I won't go into my thoughts on that discontent but the deer had been discovered a few weeks prior by photographers. Grossed just over 200"
I really don't think it's any big secret there is and has been big bucks at Wichita! I mean it isn't the hardest deer hunt to draw for no reason! I've honestly never seen one pic of a deer off that place until now. Yet I always make that my first choice because i knew! So I doubt you are letting any cats out of the bag here.
