BLANCHARD, Okla. -- The Oklahoma cop who was caught on dash cam video saving a woman's life earlier this year has now been arrested for internet crimes against a child.

Earlier this year, a video showing Blanchard police officer Jordan Jones saving a woman's life on the side of the road went viral.

Thursday night, Jones, 30, was arrested for solicitation of a minor with the use of technology, receipt of child pornography, and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

Last week, officials say the Grady County District Attorney’s Office requested Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation investigate an alleged sex offense involving a minor child and the officer.

The investigation revealed the crimes occurred in McClain County and the case remains open and active.

Another police officer is also under investigation, the Blanchard Police Department confirmed.

The department released the following statement after Jones' arrest:

"Upon a complaint filed with the OSBI, an investigation was initiated against two Blanchard Police Officers. The Blanchard Police Department cooperated fully with the investigation and cannot make any further statements at this time."

A judge has sealed the records connected with this case.

Just for a little benefit of the doubt until the whole story is known, might be good to not pass judgment until the full story is known. Yes there are a few bad apples out there, but it seems there are more and more worms looking for a way to get them. I do not know anything about this in any way, just my initial thoughts.

It's amazing the shocking things you can learn later on about some of the nicest people. One of my mentors from my training days was an incredible doc, incredible person, amazingly caring, compassionate and talented physician. Also was a deacon at our church and I just can't say enough good things about this guy.

He has since packed up shop suddenly overnight, moved away and surrendered his medical license for life under investigation for sexual misconduct with a patient. I mean... wowzers. Sometimes you just never know, and sometimes a good person just falls for the wrong temptation.

Sad stuff. But when it involves someone in a position of authority or respect (police, teachers, doctors, clergy, etc.), it seems especially heartbreaking to those who know them.

Even the most righteous amongst us are sinners. It might be hard to believe given the circumstances of some of these sins, but usually even the most heinous of actors have done good deeds.

We have to be vigilant against LGBT groups like NAMBLA that try to legalize these sorts of things. Because after all, is pedophilia nothing more than a sexual orientation? this individual needs mental help.

True, you can be a homosexual without being a pedophile. but i believe that they are sometimes co-existing situations. Despite the fact that only 3% of the population is admittedly homosexual, 1/3rd of child abusers are homosexual.
