Resurrecting a thread, but for a reason. They brought the bison in out here by the house today. I thought the cows in the yard were bad, these bison may prove to be a little more of a pain-in-the-arse to get out of the garden.

Hope it works out better than the elk herd they reintroduced on the Nichols ranch preserve on the east side of the Illinois river. Didn't take the elk long to decide the crops the guys were farming in the bottoms on the west side made for a lot better eating and the river was easy to cross.

Well, they better get more acres for them critters now. 66 acres won't last even just the initial 48 head for very long, let alone "as the herd grows."
