Get off my lawn.
Stopped off at a little fishing hole that my dad has and I caught a pretty nice crappie. I LOVE catching crappie and this one was a pleasent surprise as I had been hauling in little bass every other cast. I only fished for about an hour, but I had a blast!! One of the bass jumped out of the water and grabbed my crank bait as I was picking it up to cast again. I couldn't believe it. It was about 6" out of the water when he latched onto it. Fishing is great, even if it is almost 100 degrees out.

Funny. The pic looks like a three-fingered guy dropped a fish!

Back on topic....fishing in ponds is always fun. I used to do it a lot when I was younger. Wish I still had access to the ones I used to fish down in Maysville.

Thats a good size crappie. We cleaned 46 white bass the other night off Grand. Not bad for three people in a couple hours.
If anyone has a lead on a pond with some large bluegill in it I have a hankerin for some of those.
