I tend to build a lot of custom cars in my head, but have yet to actually make anything tangible. My latest mental project is a Ford Focus with a 7.3 Powerstroke shoehorned into it.

ha I hear ya on that seems that has been most of my builds lately also. 7.3 in a focus would be wicked!

My latest build. Was named one of the top ten hottest hot rods of SEMA by Yahoo Autos a couple weeks ago.

Every time I think about doing something like that. This is what I imagine it would turn out like.

As Blinocac200sx said. I have built several in my head. Ironically all Ford and mostly 4x4. I will build a classic Mustang at some point in my life.

Until the kids are out of the house and the house is paid off. I'll have to live vicariously through those that do work on the cars. So. Post up the work and let me move the keyboard. Drool and electronics don't mix.

what is the car in your avatar?

It's one of my GTS Vipers. I've had a few of them, from a Mamba to a Supercharged Bumblebee with 750hp

I've had at least a dozen Corvettes from a Lingenfelter C5 to BB C3 to multiple C2s (NCRS to custom) and even a survivor C1. I finished a full restoration on a Factory L79/AC 1967 Comvertible a couple months ago.

I just really love cars!

I've got a supercharged Tundra. It looks like any other blacked out lifted truck that a doucher would drive but it is fast.
