had a another chance to shoot my 452 scout yesterday...
sweeeet.... is all I can say... let my buddy shoot it. now he wants one too.

have decided not to put a scope on the little scout. it's already boring accurate with iron sights.
it's my survival rifle that needs to stay compact and light. need to kill a few squirrels and rabbits to test out.

stock is too short to give proper sight radius unless I go to a red dot or pistol scope.
or length stock by making a butt pad/ammo storage holder.

i've got second hand rose on the hunt for a 452 fs in 22mag. called buds and tin star, they can get no more fs's from their distributors. i shoulda jumped on one a little sooner. there are just a few fs's left out there and i bound and determined to have one!

has anyone tried sub-sonic ammo in their 452 yet?

I've ran a few rounds through mine. It has a 24" barrel so I was interested in seeing how quiet it might be. I did notice that it had a little more knock-down power with the sub-sonic which was a surprise. I really didn't notice the reduced sound however. Not saying that it wasn't there but I just didn't notice.
