Daytona 500 major wreck at end

Still extricating Ryan Newman from his car. :/

Flipped, went airborne, slid a long ways on the roof and was then hit by another car(s) and slid farther. Roof looks pretty crushed.

They just got him out, put him in an ambulance and are headed to a local hospital.

No word on his current condition. :/

Yeah, pretty bad. Went to a Daytona watch party in Tulsa yesterday with the guys I go to the TX race with. The group text blows up during a race. It’s silent now. Newman took a hard hit in the driver side cage while airborne.
