One of our places flooded mid week. Water is down...left lots of casual water still left-the ankle deep kind. I'm sitting tonight knowing it might be dismal. It has been so far. How long until the deer will come back? The soil is Sandy and pretty firm. A few prints under the feeder....

Never been down this road before...

If they have enough attraction to the area (good food, good cover, less pressure) they may not leave. One forum member here posted a few pics of deer belly deep in water looking pretty content with snouts in the feeders.

I feel your pain. I’ve posted several pictures of my place in another thread. It’s been under water since Tuesday, but the water has receded quite a bit today.

My food plots have been drowned out, and I know it’s going to be a muddy mess for a while. I figure my season is probably over...

Nothing to worry about. They will be back.

Oh yeah, they’ll be back. Well, actually the ones on my place never reallly left, but they were just less frequent. Off the 4 cellular cameras still working, I had 258 pictures last night, and most were deer.
