At places that ask for zip codes, I always enter 11111 or 99999. Don't need to be a part of any marketing database.

Try this: Cover all but your birth date and zip code with your fingers and don't release the license.

One other thing is if you are writing a check or making a credit card purchase, it might be the policy of the store to make sure you and the name on the check or the card are one and the same.
