They can work but they also are a pain (if you use the full body decoys) to carrry and sometimes noisey when assembling them. The deer silhouette is much easier to transport and sets up quickly and I still use it sometimes. I no longer own the full body decoy. Set up and scent are critical.

I agree with the full body being bulky.
I was a wally world awhile back and found a backpack style laundry bag.
The full body decoy, broken down, fits in there perfectly:D

I have a full body decoy and it has worked for me several times. You have to be patient and know when to and when not to use them. Sometimes using a decoy can be hilarious.
