I don't get that - does Doublestar make high-end and super-low end stuff?

I always thought their ARs were on the ultra low-end with no consideration at all to "the chart" and QC was so-so (not terrible), but definitely not a high-end AR.

Then again, I've seen DS parts that go for pretty good money - I wonder if they're either changing their image in the market, or if they are just over-pricing this handgun. I do like no MiM and no Schwartz or series 80 FP safety though.

Wonder if their ARs will suddenly be worth more now (or if they revamp them).

I understand it to be similar to Hi Point (only in reverse). Hi Point carbines are desireable, but their pistols, not so much. I've tried to find a double star frame to build up, but haven't had much luck. Bud's is sold out every time I look (however, at the time of this posting, they do have some).
