OKLAHOMA CITY - Police arrested a man who is accused of burglarizing several Oklahoma City businesses and selling stolen items online.
According to police, on February 17 and 18, two Ulta stores, located at 2340 W. Memorial and 6417 S.W. 3rd were broken into. The suspect, later identified as 28-year-old Adrian Harmon, reportedly used a BB pistol to break the glass doors. Police say Harmon stole more than 50 bottles of perfume.
On February 20, police say Harmon broke into Toys R Us, located at 2121 N.W. 138th Street, Ulta Cosmetics at 2340 W. Memorial Rd, and Target, located at 8315 N. Rockwell Ave.
Harmon allegedly stole more bottles of cologne and many electronic items including speakers, headsets, surround sound systems, and robotic vacuum cleaners.
The same day, police say a Bed Bath and Beyond store was also broken into and more vacuums were stolen. The same method was used to break into all these businesses.
According to police, Harmon was selling the exact same items on eBay and Craigslist. On Thursday, March 20, officers served a search warrant for Harmon's home, and recovered items stolen from Ulta, Toys R Us, Bed Bath and Beyond. They also found a BB gun believed to have been used during the burglaries.
Harmon admitted to burglarizing seven businesses in Oklahoma City, and several stores in Midwest City, Moore, Norman, Edmond, and Stillwater. He also admitted to officers that he had been selling the stolen items on eBay and mailing them to out of state addresses.
Harmon was arrested at his home on several charges, including violation of computer crimes act, receiving/concealing stolen property, and second degree burglaries.
