Dumb phone question

This really doesn't say how hold you are but if you hold an advanced degree. Remember how much of a PITA it was to program early VCRs. Or do you remember going to the Video Store only to find that they did not have the move instock in VHS only Betamax. Someone else already rented the VHS.

I remember you could rent a vcr from the movie store. I can't remember the video format that was available before VHS was introduced.

You guys are youngsters.....I can remember using the crank phones....no dial at all...ring up the operator and tell her who you wanted to call....

Now let me see.....I think my 3-D Danny decoder ring is around here somewhere....

I remember the party lines from when I was a kid. Pick up the phone and see if someone else is already using the line before you start dialing.
