Would this be considered a fake watch? It’s a blatant knock off of a Datejust

No, an homage. When someone says fake, faux, knockoff or ripoff they are referring to something that may be a poor quality or even style they never offered watch with fake manufacturer badging to what are called "superfakes." A Superfake is badged with a manufacturer name and some are so good an expert may not be able to tell even when opened up at first, but eventually the truth will come out.

By the way, your has the Rolex look but still a very acceptable look by a respected brand. Nice watch, I'd take it over a fake any day.

I don't care either way what people wear, but knock-offs are not fakes IMO. If I buy a PSA Dagger, it's not a fake Glock.

If your watch says Rolex and Rolex didn't make it, then it's a fake. No judgement, just not for me.

Does your PSA say "Glock" on it or try to pass itself off as a "Glock?" it is not a knock-off, it is an homage. Respect for the design, not trying to get a premium by being branded as the original manufacturer.

I think of "homage" is not a knock-off. Very apt analogy!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Count...ial terms knockoff or,or logo of a trademark.
The colloquial terms knockoff or dupe (duplicate) are often used interchangeably with counterfeit, although their legal meanings are not identical. Knockoff products are those that copy or imitate the physical appearance of other products but which do not copy the brand name or logo of a trademark

I hear you, and everyone in horology world says "Homage" but I think we have to be careful on words like that or @JEVapa will get us. He loathes words like "Fabulous" yet he sticks his pinky in the air when he drinks his Chartreuse. I dunno.... I'm confused.
