There are entire communities that collect fakes/replica watches. It's a thing. They even have forums to discuss the fakes, upcoming fakes, and values and trading/buying of fakes.
Like OSA for high-end fake watches but people will actually spend money, lol

I like watches with personality. Cheap or expensive, they all have that potential. Fakes? not so much to me. But some folks like them. There are some homage watches that are pretty cool. But I won't buy a straight up fake. Some of those are VERY good, but reach up to $7-800 for Rolex fakes. I figure what's the point? I'd rather have a number of other watches. But that's just me.
