I will tell you this, I have metal detected a lot of places in OKC and around the state. A lead bullet and a copper jacketed bullet ring in as valuable on my meter. Eighty percent of the bullets I find are in school playgrounds, around the playground equipment. I have even found the used top of a grenade whether it be the gas, smoke or exploding type.
I do not come to any conclusions about this especially when most playgrounds have fill dirt brought in about every five years or so.
