Boot Camp part of Full Metal Jacket (minus the punching recruits and suicide it is a pretty good depiction)
Jarhead
Generation Kill (the HBO mini series does an excellent job of showing life as a Marine during the invasion of Iraq)
Now if you want just a weird war/military movie watch
