Trout are easy to catch using Power Bait paste in various colors, fishing on bottom...
Sand bass are running!
The Arkansas river is really low this spring, but there is a hole that’s about 8’ deep and a half mile long I hit today with some spinners. Ended up with 9 sand bass and 2 black bass.
The black bass in the bucket will be stockers at our new farm pond. The sand bass are destined for catch and release into crisco bay.
The females eggs were not completely formed yet. The males were the same. About two weeks or so before spawn depending on the temperatures.
