I thought it was on at 8pm tonight. Was going to do to the local casino to watch it, but they declined the price.

One of the Casino's north of Newkirk is showing it, but charging an entry.

This is round 10 commentary:

Gareth disagrees with the commentators: "That left of Pacquiao is thrilling. It brings the fight - and Floyd - very much alive., See that beautiful movement and defence from Floyd on the ropes. So hard to do, so brilliant. Manny the aggressor, Floyd now in winning on points mode. Not lot of punches landed This is going to be very close. Controversy brewing... Pacquiao 10-9

Round 12:
They're out for the last round. The fighters hug at the start of it. Perhaps Floyd's feeling well disposed because he's thinking about the rematch payday. Well, now or never.... or maybe we'll come back in a year's time, who knows. There's a straight left from Manny, but Floyd is dancing out of the way, he's enjoying this, and why not, he's got Pac right where he wants him, this is a gentle cruise home barring disasters. Manny's corner not looking too happy. Manny gamely coming forward. And that's it! Both men celebrating at the end.

FM won in a unanimous decision. Oh well we'll see a rematch...

That fight was a great example of why boxing is a dying sport. They pay $180M to a guy that retreats the entire time. Mayweather's most exciting fight was against his wife. At least then he was going forward.

Mayweather clearly won. But his name should never be mentioned with any of the great fighters of the past.

Textbook Mayweather. He is a master of defense, as he ducks, slips, holds, clinches, etc. He also landed way more punches that mattered. Pac was like a mosquito- more of a pest than a legitimate threat. Fast combos that just hit Floyd's gloves most of the time. Just like the announcers agreed, he needs to stick to fighting smaller guys, nothing he did made any impact at all on Mayweather... Boxing dying, not any time soon...

We waited 5 years for Tyson to fight, then after he gets out of prison he fights and bites a guys ear off. Talk about a waste of a fight. Tysons hatred of Mayweather goes way back. Floyd's assistant was the one who got him sent back to prison, pretty sure he hasn't forgotten it. Tyson also beat his wife, and went to prison for rape. Anything he endorses means shi t to nobody.

Casual fans wanted to see more excitement, I don't blame them at all, cause that didn't happen. Again. But if you're a serious fan then you know that was the normal Mayweather style of fight. Hes a boxer, not a fighter, and Manny is a fighter and not much of a boxer. The outcome was determined before the fight by real fans. We knew it was going to go just like it did. Sucks for those who wanted more out of the fight tho. I would feel ripped off too if I didn't know that's how Floyd fights all his fights. Running, slipping, ducking, counter punching, classic Mayweather... Fight of the Century? No way. Floyd best ever? No way. He escaped with another destination decision. That's just his style.
