I had a takedown PSE Coyote for awhile, far, far better than these survival bows. They may not break down quite as small but the increase in performance makes up for that easily.

well I was just thinking with all the talk of BoBs Get home Bs etc it could be a nice addition, carrying alot of ammo in a bag can seriously weigh a person down.

A 50lb now should be sufficient for deer hunting. Mine is only a 52lb recurve my dad built 20 years ago.
