I had a similar problem the first time out with my Colt. It wound up being the hammer and trigger pins. they were the wrong size. the standard pins are .154" but the Colt were .170".

I wouldn't think the CMMG lower would have the bigger pins, but could be worth checking.

Ok, problem solved. It was the spring between the trigger and the disconnector, guess it fell out while I was fumbling to install the FCG. It was sitting all alone in the lower. Thanks for the help gang!
