G22 magwell fit?

So I bought one of those cheapie plastic magwells from topglock and I go to put it on and it just doesn't marry up correctly to the gun. The most obvious problem is the big dimple in front of the G22's factory magwell. I never noticed it before, but it leaves a big u shaped gap in the front between the factory magwell and the aftermarket extension. What am I doing wrong here? did I order for the wrong generation?, because the website didn't specify generations...and the pics of the more expensive metal ones don't appear to have anything to fill the gap either?

If its the Prezine brand magwell you just don't have it in all the way...you kind of have to slip in on the front then work it up the back channel...I had one on my G17 and once you get it all the way on there it fits pretty good for the cost of em...good luck.
