dang you guys asking about sigs....always gets me to wanting a 9mm, but I keep running into the problem of being able to find .40 model 226's but no 9mm. I find the same thing in beretta's. I would bet I wouldn't like the .40 model rather than a 9mm, but what do you all think? I have a '94 model sig 220 that I want to match with a vintage 9mm, but haven't been able to find one.

I'd hold off for the 9mm - they will show up. I have several SIGs but not a .40 in any of them. Nothing wrong with it, just way down on this list of my favorite calibers.

thanks IkenI, I went the long way to say that I really don't like .40, or certainly less favorite caliber. I will wait. I would like a late 80's or early 90's gun to match the other one.

I got my 226 at the gun show. It has a JJ date code (1988). It's been a reliable shooter with all kinds of ammo.

I have two other Sigs. A P-220 and a P-6.

The only problem I've ever had was with the P-6. It doesn't like hollowpoints.
