Glock gen 3 MOS

I have ordered a vortex red dot and am looking at mounting options. I am wondering if a glock gen 3 slide can be machined to accept the new MOS mounting plates? If it's not possible I will have it machined for the vortex I am just thinking about upgrading at some point and don't want to be limited to the vortex. Thanks

I asked the guy I had mill mine if that could be done. He said it couldnt.

Someone else might be able to but I've never seen it.
