One beautiful spring day a man decided to call in sick to work so he could go fishing. After making the call to his boss, then
lying to his wife telling her that he would be working late, he headed out to the lake, retrieved his boat from storage and set out
to try his luck.
Meanwhile up in heaven, God and an angel were watching these events unfold and the angel said, "Are you going to let
him get away with that?" to which God replied, "Of course not. He'll pay the consequences".
So the man reached his favorite fishing spot and immediately pulled in the largest bass he had ever seen. Excited, he
cast again and hauled in another huge fish. This went on all day long. The man couldn't believe his good fortune and
had the time of his life catching record size fish.
Up in heaven the angel was stunned. He looked at God and said "I thought you said he would pay the consequences."
God smiled and said, "Who's he gonna tell about it?"
