If selling on FB, be aware of taking payment electronically.

If you sell over $600 (PER YEAR) on FB/Ebay, and take electronic payment - then expect an additional tax form.

FTF is good - for cash payments. .....For the transaction that didn't work out.

My "confidential Google ID" is 4Q

Phone number? See ID.

More scammers than anything on Fascist Book.

Wif was showing me an ad, yesterday:

For Sale:

Paid $1000. Bargain @ $600 cash, ftf, at my home.

Offers welcome.

That was it, entire ad.

Told her to offer $1, on contingency they delivered

They actually responded: rent is past due, need $475 minimum.

Bejeebus, people is ignert.

Had a good deal this morning from fb.
I messaged the guy real early, he replied withing 5-10 minutes.
within 15-20 minutes he had answered all my questions and i had an address.
within 2 hours of initial contact I was driving away with my purchase.
every once in a while a deal will work out but it's not the norm for
me.

I have found a phone conversation is usually the best way to weed out scammers and qualify a buyer.
You can have fun when you start to sense a flake. That's if you have time to mess with em.

I agree. A phone call can tell you a lot about someone. But holy smokes - people are scared to death to give out a phone number. (For fear of scams, so I can't blame them.)

If it's a deal worth a darn, I'll message them my cell number and ask them to text/call me. Even then - It's like pulling teeth.

You got a better approach?

I've sold a few pairs of boots and a couple watches on FB market. Once you get past the "Is this available?" followed by no reply crowd, it's not too bad in my experience. Anybody that says "Kindly" or too many "Sir"s has to be a scammer though.
