Well it's hard to judge size/scale, because I can't tell how far back it is from the foreground, and I don't know how big your feeder is. What's the boat's length and width? If we knew that, we could probably figure out at least whether it's a smaller falcon type, or larger hawk/eagle type.
Oh, is that a boat? I was thinking it was a watering trough because of the PVC pipe leading up to it. Could be bigger than I thought.

Oh I dunno - maybe it is a watering trough. In any event, what's the width looking from left to right there where the bird is sitting - that would probably help us.

The trough is approximately 8 long by 4 feet wide.
The PVC pipe sticking up at the opposite end is 5-6 inches in length.
The barrel feeder...The bottom of the barrel stands approximately 6 feet from the ground.
My buddy who leases the land with me posts on this forum..maybe he'll chime in and give his guesstimates.

What is that running past the feeder, to the trough? It looks like string, but may just be the top edge of a PVC pipe.

There is no standing water, so we set up a tote up the hill and ran the PVC to the trough with the float valve. Works great.
