Always get a safe that's at least 25% bigger than you think you need. Not just for potential expansion. You'll enjoy a little more room than a safe that's just big enough.

I was lucky to catch up a Canon Safari 24 gun safe on sale at Walmart for 400.00. Not sure how I would get 24 guns in it, but I do not have 24 guns anyway. I also store several cans of ammo in it. I currently keep 8 rifles comfortably in it.

I am going to pop by Bear Safes tomorrow if open, but H&H has a great deal on an American Security on clearance. It is almost exactly what I am looking for with very tight door clearance tolerance.
