If you were close to Tulsa I would inspect them for you. no charge! most guns you can tell without even taking them apart. their being red hot and getting hosed down, making the parts harden is more a worry than being softened.

Because depending on how much total damage was done and the ins. policy, there are limits. Just turning them all in doesn't mean they will all get replaced. The insurance will pay for the inspection, cleaning, and testing.

Which is why you have enough. If you had a $100k home and only covered it for $25k what would you call that?
Gun insurance is relatively cheap in comparison to home insurance.

Agree, the Only problem is ...you have to list the guns you are covering....and boating accidents makes that hard ...sometimes... ;)

Yep, not turning a list in to anybody.
Having enough ins. means staying up on coverages, not everybody does.
Separate gun ins. is good, but not everybody has.

Finding an agent who is 2A and making sure you are covered, PRICELESS.

We had a fire 1984. Turned in a bill for cleaning, inspection, and a couple of total losses = 3k+. Adjuster balked, agent told him, "Pay it, we got out cheap.".
