I used a Milwaukee 24 volt hammer drill and new masonry bits and it took about an hour for (4) 2 inch deep holes. As I had many holes to drill I bought a Bosch corded drill and conquered the problem in 10 minutes.

That disconcerting. Milwaukee is usually good stuff.
Yeah...Bosch bits for the win! That was my problem...****** drill bits that came with the kit.
I bought 4 bits "just in case" and just needed the one to zip right through it. Good to know!

Bosch blades are all I buy for my jig saw and reciprocating saw. Most of them are made in Switzerland. They are seriously a league above anything else I've used.

Just a heads up ---- Milwaukee only makes 12v and 18v cordless products.

Diablo also makes great recip blades. Demo Demons will eat through anything!
