Vizio. Get twice as much TV for the price and still get a BluRay inet capable player too.
a few years ago when I got to my fds, I moved off base with a few others and we pitched in and got like a 60 some in plasma. It was in a normal size living room and you could only see from directly in front of the tv sense there was not a lot of room on the sides of the room. technology is better now and you can see a good picture form almost any angle now.
I HAD a 42in phillips i really liked.
Vizio is a great value and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another. I have had a 37" for about 5 years and a 42" for 2 with no problems. I'd go with the 47" if those are your choices. Bigger is always better in most rooms and aren't noticeably too large until you get to 55"+ (I have a 150" with projector in by theater!).
