I started forming cases this way, back in the mid 80's because the vast majority of the rifles that I built were for various wildcat cartridges. Back then though, I made the dies from heat treated aluminum and welded the primer hole shut on whatever shell holder was needed for the job...

I don't know if things like this were made available to the public before now but, it's good to see that someone has finally made this a viable option for the wildcatter....

wish I knew this before I fire formed my 250 ai cases. May have to try this when I get a new batch to form

I know it's OT, but which AI round are you shooting? Thinking of Ackleyizing my 338-06.

Back on topic, I suspect the deadblow hammer will perform considerably better than the rubber hammer the blogger is using.
