I was in DR's for the first time and got to meet the fellas. Nice guys! They were busy restocking from Wannamaker's. I saw this white box that said Apollo 11 Compact $1,099.
I says to myself, self, WTF is an Apollo 11 Compact? I must have said it to myself too loudly because the sales guy came over and opened the box, then handed me this beauty.
Man, did it feel good to me. A double stack 17 round magazine, ambidextrous safety, and smooth as a baby's butt. Not a sharp corner anywhere. The fit and finish were incredible but dammit, it's a nine!
