I've never shot a Javelina. I've killed countless pigs with dog and knife though.

Bear in mind this was back in the '60s. But I was a kid, and may be mistaken about the location. I do remember the pics were in wooded areas though.

There are not supposed to be any up as far north as Garvin Co Oklahoma but my buddy caught one in a pig trap about 10 years ago. I saw it myself and then we smoked it and ate it.
