I remember an article in "Field & Stream" when I was a kid ('60s), called "Hogs, Dogs, and Handguns" (my uncle subscribed to the magazine and would let me have them after he'd read them).
The article was about hunting Javelina (Peccary) in Arkansas IIRC.
