I'll be looking for a .22 military trainer at Wanenmachers this year. How about you?

I just missed a TU-KKW on another forum by minutes yesterday for $185 + shipping, so $215 total. Kind of a neat rifle.

If I'm not mistaken,,,
That's the Chinese Norinco copy of the K-98 Mauser?

I was considering a new-in-box specimen on Gunbroker,,,
The one I saw had a buy-it-now price of $385.00.

I agree they are "Kind of a neat rifle",,,
The reason I decided not to go for that one,,,
Is because I've never held one in my grubby little hands.

One poster told me they were about 10% smaller than the K-98,,,
I think I could have lived with that but I still let it pass.

It's still in my mind though,,,
Maybe if I were to get to handle one I might like it.

For certain I would have bid on one for only $185.00.
