I would say it's probably different but I don't think your area ever had red shale bluffs or they would still be there. There's very little sand along the river from the bluffs east, whereas your area on the other had has a ton.
Yeah, the topography changes at about Nescatunga.

I watch a treasure hunting show once where the people actually found some hidden gold. One of the alphabet agencies came in and took control of the area. The finders were supposed to get a percentage of the loot. During the night black suvs were in and out of the area and the next day when the finders were allowed back in, there wasn't much gold for them to get a percentage of. A neighbor lady ratted out the night shift of Feds.
Don't steal. The gov't hates competition.
