neutral site games are crap. Thursday night games are traps. When OU scheduled Notre Dame, they were still in their irrellevant stage, they didn't know ND would come back like they did, otherwise, they would ahve never scheduled them. OSU has played more quality OOC games than any of the other teams that are in the running for an NC. Bama plays non-FCS schools and get ridiculous pre-season rankings because they slaughter them. OSU destroys Savannah State and gets berated for it. OU runs up the score and is applauded. It's BS. OOC games do not matter in conference championships, but they matter in the national picture. Gundy should have a say, I guarantee you Stoops does.

Sorry man but OU plays a better non conference schedule. They played Notre Dame this year. Florida State last year. Florida State, Cincinnati, Air Force in 2010. BYU & Miami in 2009.

Compare the actual schedules and you will see that they play a lot of cupcakes too.

OSU- 2011- Louisian Lafayette, AZ, Tulsa (who won C-USA last year)
OU 2011- Tulsa, FSU, Ball state

2010
OSU:Washington State 2-10, Troy 8-5 , Tulsa 10-3, ULL 3-9
OU: Utah state(4-8), FSU(10-4), Air Force (9-4), Cinc 4-8

Looks fairly even honestly. Now look at Alabama

2011: KEnt state, North texas, Penn state rapists, Georgia southern. One good team
2010 San jose state, Penn State rapists, Duke, Georgia state. Again, one good team.
2009 Virginai tech, Florida International, North Texas, Tennessee Chattanooga. one good team.

I'm not saying cupcakes should be played, and neither is Gundy, but your first game should not necessarily be a hardcore opponent either, you need to shake things out in the first game, that is the whole point of OOC games. The coach should have a little bit of say in scheduling, that's all I am saying.

That is BS. But you are entitled to your opinion.

OSU has played more quality OOC games than any of the other teams that are in the running for an NC.
The last 6 seasons, OSU has played exactly 6 BCS conference teams in OOC games. 6. OSU played one BCS conference school OOC game this year and lost. Besides, OSU lost 5 games this year so what difference does it make that they may or may not have played a tougher OOC schedule than Alabama or Notre Dame?
