Reality stepping in. @surjimmy invited me once and my dealer with the 10mm XD compact got me in the second time. Thanks, fellers!

Honestly I am not sure why people are bitching about $14 or $13 if you're a vet . Hell you can barely get a decent cheese burger and fries for that price now days much less go to a movie. The walking does most good and we do don't do enough of it .

Besides if I get lucky I will find the 280 Remginton turn bolt I am looking for to go with the one in the gun cabinet .

I bitchin about a crappy $14 burger, too.

$14 is what happens when idiots get $15 / hr for screwing up on a $7 / hr job.

$14 entry is GREED. 4x as many through the door with $5 entry. You get more $$$.
Vendors have more traffic.
High traffic attracts more visitors.
More visitors generates higher gate.

Greed = stupidity. Making less by charging more.

Works the same on vendor fees.
Have reasonable table fees and have a full venue.

Would you rather have 100 tables @ $200 or 250 tables @ $100 or 300 @ $75.

$14 entry to find 100 overpriced table, trying to make up for $200 fee.
$5 entry with 300 tables. Some still over-priced, but more likely to find that elusive deal and look at lots of guns.

OKC fairgrounds is dying because of ridiculous table fees, entry fee, parking fees.

Went today. It's in the exchange center as usual. I couldn't tell if it was larger or if they spread the aisles wider. I saw a dealer offering to buy ar's off people @ 425 buy 475 trade. Didnt seem to matter how fancy it was. Ammo selection was lacking. Better selection and cheaper at Dong's or Academy. Looked like a bunch of safe/reloading room clean outs. Only thing I went for nobody had this time.
Those rubber band things with caliber printed on them.

Not dying, being run in the ground by greed.

I have found a deal at every show. Some shows I refuse to go to, because of excessive fees. Such a shame, claims of shows dying, but it is stupidity killing them.

Stupidity starts with the venue and flows down.
