I inherited one from my grandfather,has 28 inch modified and 30 inch full,love the gun and have to hold back the tears everytime I put my hands where his hands spent many years in the with.He harvested everthing from rabbits,doves ,quail,pheasants,waterfowl and several turkeys.I purchased a smoothbore slug barrel that shoots very good groups at 50 yards,my goal is to harvest a deer with it,he used his 30-06 for deer hunting.I have to say the slug barrel was a pleasant surprise on performance and is something you might consider an in expensive add to bring a new dimention to your beautiful gun,enjoy!
Ok, I have a confession...I sold this gun a few months back. It just wasn't getting any action. I did get my money back...and then some.
