Surefire mags arrived today. Have not tried yet.

I have a Surefire mag enroute as well. Delivery tomorrow hopefully!! I figured that I better get mine before the anti gun crazies get a ban passed.

My surefire 60 was unreliable. Cleaned, brass ammo, and it still malf'd.

I don't think that's a Larue. It looks like the Primary Arms mount to me.

That's why I only bought a couple. They had mixed reviews and wasn't comfortable buying more.

If these work, I'll buy a couple more. If they don't, I'll see if surefire will make it right.

Either way, I'd never run these for home/self defense. Just plinking.

I've seen the SF 60s run well and poorly in the M16s. Same mags. Might get though a mag, might not. None for me.

I've seen a lot of guys do well with them with no problems. I've heard dumping graphite in them to slick everything up helps. After mine screwed up three times in two different matches, after being cleaned, I decided a pmag with a Nordic 18 round extension would work well enough. And it has. The lower profile of the Surefire is good, but reliability is #1 on all of my gear.
