So I found a pretty good reason to get on facebook. This guy takes some super cool pictures of aircraft and is based in OKC, so lots of stuff out of Tinker. Well worth looking it over, I spent about 3 hours looking through his page the past day or two.

He has a website where you can buy prints and such, cool to look through, but he doesn't include his stories with each picture like he does on Facebook. Also, Facebook doesn't include the humongous watermark.

I worked as a civilian contractor at Offut and Whiteman. Coolest stuff I saw was ready alert F15 Strike Eagles sitting ready to go at Offut.

I'll have to reach out to a friend who still works for American in Tul, when we worked together he showed me a picture he had of a F4, that had been brought back near dusk by a Colonel doing a recurrency flight with a volleyball net stretched across the radome and canopy, minus the poles.
