Lost a sister today.

One of my half sisters died today after years of fighting cancer. She was a tough old bird and I truly believe she could have beat it if they had caught it early enough the first time. At least all her sisters have beaten it but they caught it before it had a chance to spread.

Still she put up a great battle and I am proud of her. She did not go quietly into the night, she went kicking, screaming and cussing. I lift a glass to Patti, give em hell sis!

Sorry to hear Rick. My mom is about to begin her battle with it. We think they caught it in time and it's a rare type that thankfully responds very well to treatment. But she's 80 so it's going to be a tough battle. May your sister rest in peace eternal.
