I've been looking over the Magpul Bipod and it seems to me to be built pretty stout. Anyone have an opinion about them ? I'm thinking that it's the one to put on my first AR. Price $109.95

AR = Armalite Rifle, emphasis on lite... lol
Regardless of the brand, I have never had a good experience with a bipod on any of my ARs, from Iraq to Afghanistan to Duncan Oklahoma..... But YMMV.

I have a harris bipod on mine, had it for years.
You will also need the harris bipod adapter to mount in the AR Handguard.

Well, both of my rotator cuffs are shot so I thought maybe I could slap that on my AR every so often and give em a rest. [Edit] slap that on my Colt A4.

The Magpul Bipod will be available as either a M-Lok, Picatinny, or ARMS 17S mount. So I will NOT use a standard Harris type sling-swivel mount.

I only have a bipod on my big AR. Not my carbines or pistol.

I am very interested in this bipod. Also curious what it goes for street price.

It is $98.01 if you get the dealer or Mil/LE discount, otherwise it is $104.45.

In case anyone else was in the dark like I was. I didn't know magpul was building one. I've got several brands right now including Harris, Caldwell, Vanguard and some Amazon cheapo called CVlife. I guess I might as well add a magpul.
